Saronville NE | I am looking at some ground 35 miles away 1 way all dryland and would be in a county I have never farmed in before, ok I know I have to use county yields since have never farmed in that county before. Now if all dryland and no irrigated, I can take a different ins level right when outa county? So I could take 85% level instead of 75 or 80% level like at home county? Is there anyway to use a higher yield, like past tenent yield history or such to help out on the risk? How do you guys handle the risk on new ground when having to start with lower county yields vs your own yields? TIA | |
