Subject: Flaming Weeds (with fire, the real kind)

WC MN
Currently we use one pass of glyphosate in late fall to kill the grasses in our grape vineyard row while the vines are dormant and a pre in the spring. If things get bad in season we use 1 or 2 passes of ammonium glufosinate (Rely is the label). I was thinking today that a pass with a torch or some other form of flaming device would take care of most of the broadleaves that escape the spring pre. Does anybody have experience with such a device? I would think they would be weak on the grass but we have that under control with the glyphosate. I would imagine $2 propane plays into this equation as well. However, Rely isn't cheap either.

Thanks in advance!
