As CIH used to advertise, "Ready for no till when you are". Put some Martin trash whippers (residue managers) on front and that's all you really need. I had a 900 for many years and I did change out the closing disks to the the spike tooth type, but when I traded up to my 950 I left the stock (smooth) closing disks as is. I haven't really found any difference and sometimes I think the smooth disks work better. The main thing to do is make sure you have good opener blades on. |
