West Tennessee | All this fuss and my folks went and named me William just like my Dad & Grandpa and a bunch of cousins not to mention how many hundreds of other ones in town! :-)
I guess I count myself lucky that we didn't have these issues naming our daughters. I don't remember it ever being discussed by anyone except me and my wife but I feel sure we told both our parents what we intended to name them well before hand. I doubt seriously if anyone could have changed our minds once we decided on their names though. For that reason I guess I never understood the keeping it a secret thing, although it seems to be popular with lots on here. | |
