SE Michigan | Like you Von, I consider the MF Global story to be huge. Although there seems to be very little mainstream radio or tv coverage. Day after day I expect to see country elevators finding themselves upside down with their hedging accounts. As others have pointed out the liquidly in the markets may well not reappear for a long time. Who would have ever thought the risk of leaving your money in a brokerage account overnight as being more dangerous than an overnight open position without a stop loss order? Then possibly finding yourself fighting the courts should they decide to claw back account withdrawals you received months ago. | |
