I would love to see some charts like that too. I am not convinced that inflation means higher priced commodities. I cannot remember enough about the 70's and 80's but it seems like the US economy was poor in the 70's when farming was good and then in the 80's the US economy was good which caused inflation and higher interest rates. If there was inflation in the 80's it certainly didn't create high commodity prices.
