Central Texas Panhandle | The new 60's are governed electronically to keep engine speed up during heavy loads. Looked at one across the road yesterday and noticed it has a charge air cooler, it was Greenstar Ready, had a clean steering column, had two burr chutes, and a battery disconnect. One thing the new strippers have that I added to mine is a hydraulic accumulator on the header height circuit. No more bouncing and jarring when lifting and lowering the header. It is much more pleasant when lifting up over and crossing sprinkler ruts. | |
