I bet it was a similar design.  Dad never secured the mounting legs, just sat it in place. "The weight of the corn will hold it".  Did for 30+ years I guess ...

Oh, and of course it happened just at sundown with all the trucks loaded and the combine running strong.

Fortunately we could still get the door open to throw it out.  Never did like that thing.
