If you ever wondered what kind of hardpan a tandem disc would leave, wonder no more. This is actually our hay yard loading area; the topsoil was ground up from truck and loader traffic, dried up, and blew away, leaving visible evidence of plowing practices from many years ago. It's going to take some slow, steady rain over months and years to mellow this one out.  :-(
