NC ND | The last sentence of frmmgr's post is funnier than snot to a dry-lander. How does one go about finding a barge to service your island? What are the chances of finding one capable of hauling meduim sized equipment with a draft of 2 feet. With the rise of Devils Lake I can think of better than a thousand acres that could be farmed if you could get to the islands. Do you have to have a dock everywhere or can some of them offload directly? | |
