We use some "exotic" oils in our in-row liquid fertilizer on the planter........which oils need to be emulsified so they flow with the water, etc. I was just notified this AM that the stuff that we have used in the past -------- is no longer being packaged by the manufacturer in "reasonably" priced quantities........and therefore the order which I placed a while back for use this weekend will not be available. (The stuff went from "very high" to 3 times "unreasonably high------call banker first". Any ideas as to something that could be used as an emulsifier for oils which are the consistency of vegetable oil, and which could go into the seed trench without harming anything? The stuff we used before was similar to a highly concentrated soap-like product. |
