Subject: RE: Nook vs Kindle??

Texas Panhandle
I was given a Kindle by my in-laws for Christmas and I love it. It is much easier taking the Kindle with you than a bunch of books. I tend to read a lot during the winter and often take it with me on the tractor quite a bit, too. We use the auto-steer technology and I'm usually planting or sowing wheat. Read a paragraph, check everything behind you. Helps keep me awake on the bigger fields during slower speeds.

One of my biggest things I like the Kindle over the Nook is the "print" of the Kindle. I wear polarized sun glasses and have trouble looking at the tractor monitor and my phone, whereas I can read my Kindle with them on at any angle and can read it just fine. No glare. May not be fancy and have all the colors, but I have read about 7 or 8 books so far this year and my bookcase isn't overflowing.

Hope this helps.
