West Central Illinois | Just turned the cows on a corn stalk field yesterday. This evening when I went out to check them one cow was laying down while all the rest were up. I got her up and she just walked a few steps then layed back down. When she was up she had her head drooped. After she layed down she was trying to roll over on her side, then would sit back up. She wasnt bloated, I cleaned up all corn piles around the field i could find, and the cows have been getting corn the last 2 weeks in prep for turning them on the field. Called my vet and all he said was to check her in the morning. Already lost a cow due to hardware 2 weeks ago and would prefer not to lose another one. Any thoughts? | |
