| I'm probably misunderstanding the question, but: Take a soil test! Tissue tests on the growing plants is perhaps even more detailed information, but a soil test will tell you how many nutrients you have, and will tell you how much you need to add. It is in fact a very complicated and controversial science, but a LOT of free information is available here and elsewhere on the net, but a plain old soil test from your fields is where you should start. My local coop comes out and samples and sends them in for me, but I suspect you can take care of that yourself if you wish. | |
