This is on dark sand with pretty good rainfall including 6.5" one weekend in July. 1 pass with a Salford RTS a few weeks before planting. This field has been no-tilled for 25 years and verticle tillage for the last 6years. corn bean rotation.

DKC 3631 30" 125k pop 62 bu
DKC 3631 15" 140k pop 58bu
DKC 3631 7.5" 180k pop 64bu

I would've thought the 15 or 30s to be on top. I really intended to have the drilled beans at 140k also, that was a mistake. We have had better yields with 140k than 180k in drilled beans the last few years in tests. Could it have simply been the weather this summer was better for the higher pop. I've got 2 more tests to harvest,

I've been wanting to update my 30'GP drill and was thinking of a 16/31 Case IH 1200 was the reason for the tests.

How many replications? What is the least significant difference? If it is only one replication those yeilds are not significantly different from each other. If it is only one replication then congratulations you found out that you cannot draw any conclusions from your trial.
