I think var rate take a little more than just "throw a card in it and turn it on" to be done correctly. Strip till is has been showing a consistent yield advantage that more than pays for itself with the recent weather patterns. Find a stip till operator that does a professional job and market your grain better to make up for a half bushel per acre charge for var rate.
