You could go about this 2 ways. Apply the Anhydrous between the rows then work it with the Landoll or work it with the Landoll then apply the Anhydrous between the rows. Depending on you applicator is it possible for you to put the Anhydrous down between the rows, work the ground with the Landoll Vt, then plant between the rows on top of your anhydrous in the spring? Working the ground after the anhydrous application because you are using a knive applicator will give you a firmer more uniform seedbed for next spring. A chopping corn head helps greatly for fall Anhydrous application in regards to problems with plugging along with helping the worms, etc breakdown the corn stalks. Applying the Anhydrous after working the ground will work as long as you have straight rows and can stay on top of the Anhydrous knives with the planter.
The Landoll if set correctly will not take out the root balls which will allow you to follow the previous years rows when planting next spring. Root balls can be hard to manage if you rip them out in the fall from our experience especially in good corn. Make sure your speed with the Landoll is not excessive, we have had some disc bouncing from to fast of a working speed.
I also like a fall application of AMS at 100 lbs p/ac with our P and K. We have had excellent results with all of this planting into a stale seedbed in the spring. We have found working the ground in the spring does not offer any benefits except weed control. I get excellent weed control by spraying a burndown in the spring.
