Have you considered Autumn herbicide made by Bayer. Autumn with crop oil and ams has worked very well for me 2 years running. It has a broad application window, is not pricey, and has good residual into spring. It does not need 2,4-D or any other chemical for control, that is just another expense that is not necessary with Autumn. http://www.cdms.net/ldat/ld84L004.pdf
