Subject: Cover crop row/track spacing.

SW MO
I could spend half the evening drawing diagrams to solve this equation, but I was hoping someone on here already has the math done. I am wanting to take a 48 hole 7.5 inch spaced wheat drill and sow wheat as a cover crop on some ground going to corn next spring. What I need to know is which holes on the drill need to be covered to leave 12 rows on 30" centers unsown. I am worried that the residue from the wheat will not flow well through my strip till rig, so I'd like to just not have wheat where the strip will be ran. My next question involves track spacing. When I set my guidance for a 30' swath it leaves the 7.5" spacing between passes. Will I need to change track spacing to get this done properly? The drill is a 5500 2 section CaseIH MinTill and the strip till rig is a DMI 5310 if that makes any difference.
