Chebanse, IL.....

We use a lot of NH3 and it is popular in this area. Has been for 40 yrs or more probably.  I respect that it has the potential to be dangerous and should be viewed as a potential danger. We try to be careful handling it. I personally know of only 1 neighbor that was hospitalized due to NH3 burn. He's fine now. However, of all the things on our farm that are sitting there waiting to hurt or kill us, the NH3 isn't very high on my list. I can think of many more incidences with other "situations" that have either temporarily or permanantly disabled or killed neighbors, having nothing to do w/NH3.
