It was Iowa state that did the study. Their conclusion was the deflector on the top of the conveyor is what damaged the germ. We sell the travis and the J&M. You can get the J&M with either. The travis is polycup only. We have sold 30+ travis and never had a single complaint about seed quality. I even offer to give a guy their money back if they don't agree with me. We have multiple farmers using them for corn also. If you want to buy a belt fine. I wouldn't spend the extra. I like both tenders for what they are designed for. Bulk vs. Box
