I believe there is some reduction, probably 5-7 bu/acre. I however also believe that the tractor plays more of a role than the planter. For this reason i am going with a track tractor to reduce my pinch rows to just 4... I also learned that with the ccs you can get more done, therfore i needed to be a little more patient waiting for the ground to dry out, like an extra 12-24 hours before planting!!!!
