Subject: looking for a clever way to minimize head loss on JD 930F

NW Illinois
Need Help. While combining, I lose a lot of beans between the cutter bar and stainless steel pan. The beans fill up the skid plates and ultimately when I raise the head a substantial amount of beans shake out onto the ground. I can see them scattered in the field from the cab of the combine. They also seem to fall to the ground as I cut across the field. Any ideas on how to keep this from happening and minimize the losses would be appreciated.

This is not limited to this header, my neighbors 930F is just as bad, both on 9750s.

TIA Dave
