Lubbock, Texas | I have never seen it?
I believe they still do some lower level training southwest of Lubbock around Yoakum County in fact I think there are height restrictions on things you can build
they also have tons and tons of large cargo planes that do touch and goes at Lubbock airport.......they will do it hour after hour for days especially if the wind is up......it is pretty amazing watching a huge plane fly angled along the runway until the last minute then take right back off
get the crop dusters up in the air and it is quite a bit of interesting flying to watch
sometimes smaller military jets will do touch and goes as well, but they are not fighters they are military versions of gulfstreams ect.
I don't recall seeing a lot of fighters
I think they do some low level bomber runs out of Wichita Falls down towards Quanah, Tx...I know for sure they were on a run one time when I was there camping you could see their faces......they might come of out of Abilene too | |
