Maybe a private forester. However I worked with the state/county forester. He made up a harvest plan, got bids, etc.  Problem was the plan was not follwed and the bids were ridiculously low for what they actually took out of my woods. It seemed he was working more for the lumber company than for me. I wasn't around at the time and I guess that's what happens when you are not around. But by the time you figure this out it is too late.
