Subject: Radishes- How far North?

How far north are radishes viable? The wheat usually comes off mid to late August. If it takes several days dipping into the mid twenties, I would guess that we would be looking at mid-October for killing weather. That seems about right for them to do their thing.

I am looking to tie up some nitrogen, break up some compaction, and be ready for soybeans the following year. Just never noticed any widespread use this far north.

I would appreciate any thoughts or observations!
