North Central Illinois | Same deal here. Tested some Friday at 28.5% that was not black layered. I know everyone says add two or three points for hand shelled versus combined but that really hasn't been my experience the last few years. It seems like when we start combining it is always drier than we thought it was. I don't know what to tell you. I have combined corn that did not appear to be black layered that was under 30%. | |
