Subject: I applied 100 lbs. 46-0-0 yesterday...

IN
and got .5" rain last night. Have had about 2" total since drilling it on 6-29. It has been very dry and doesn't look to change much, but I wouldn't call it a complete drought. I will wait until it is 18" tall if that is what it takes cause I sure don't want to kill any cows. Any other advice when I do turn them in? I suppose I could wait and bag it but don't know what I will do in the meantime. Could tap into a bag of hay/wheatlage put up this spring but I hate to open it in this heat.
Thanks
