West Ky | I do know that it polinates very well in extreme heat. The pioneer was terrible. In very good weather years the pioneer racehorses will out yield it by 5 bu but in these last couple of years where they hot and dry have been here the whole summer the Agrigold really shines in a huge way compared to pioneer. When I mean huge I'm talking around 40-70 bu depending on field.
I can't comment on other varieties but these are the ones I am familiar with. | |
