Trenton, KY | That is exactly the horror story that I guess we were lucky enough to dodge. We had about 175 acres of that corn and it was all planted April 8-9 and it pollinated great and made rather well for the year. We had it planted beside 1253HR on some of those acres and I believe it outdid the 1253HR by a pretty good margin. Although it was good for us, I don't think we'll be getting anymore of it next year, it seems like Pioneer is having more trouble than others with pollination problems this year. | |
