| I have tried every kind of analysis with check varieties from nearest neighbor analysis to weighting as you propose. I gave up and decided my time was better spent looking at variety response across more locations. Results from your farm this year do not predict future weather and pest patterns. This is why pooling locations across a geography gives the best answer of what to plant because the different locations will have experienced different weather patterns and pests. All IMHO, and good luck!
