| I have a friend who has a few horses. He has about 5 acres of grass. He would like it to be thicker or be better for grass hay. What is the best thing to plant to have "better or thicker" grass hay? Would the normal water way mix work for this or just a couple of mixed types that we could mix and put in the drill? When is the best time to plant the new seeding? He doesn't want to kill what is there now just plant more into it if possible. I was thinking that a no-till drill would work. What other thoughts do you guys have. Thanks for the help. | |
