Qulin, MO | Ours is all Rice Tec XL745. The 160 acres of leveed rice planted May 11th looks really good. We have another 160 acres planted on 0 grade fields that were flown on a couple weeks later. One came up okay, but we 'bout killed it trying to take care of the aquatics. The other one barely came up and we almost turned it in to insurance till we found out they weren't gonna pay much on it if at all. Kept it and it started looking better than the other. Its still pretty thin, but we will just have to see. Our best yielding rice ever was also the thinnest stand we ever had. Some Francis that did 215bu an acre. | |
