Get your snouts shined up and run a reel. I made that decision as well with our 843 and reel is definitely best bang for the buck. We had poly when we ran a six row and the only huge difference I notice is that I don't fall on my butt if I have to walk on the metal snouts, even though poly does sneak under the corn a little better.
