Heil Harvesting, Ulysses KS/Limon CO | Yeild, field size, field topography, ability to get dumped etc. play in huge.
My fall--I am getting $25/acre on dryland corn up to 75 bpa then I start overage at 20 cents a bushel plus hauling.
Irrigated is $0.25-0.35 a bushel depending on haul.
Beans I am $25/acre plus $0.20/bushel over 50 bpa, plus hauling.
Most of my dryland will make 30-60 bpa. Total revenue will be around $30/acre. Haul will proabably average 15 miles.
Most of my irrigated will make 200 plus. Haul will range from 4-20 miles, average 10 miles. If I can just pick (ie moisture jumps a point and we go ahead and pick the quarter) I can get my rated down there around $.25, possibly lower if it all laid right.
Beans will probably make 60, around $33-34/acre.
Overhead on the road is ridiculous. A short wheat harvest and me and many others are are just looking to make payments. |
