I have variable color in ours. The darkest green, that is a VT3 hybrid. I don't see any difference in traits, only varieties. Noticed over the last few years that Monsanto genetics are yellower than others. This doesn't mean anything to us since it is usually 1-2 points dryer and about 5 bushel higher.
