North Central Kansas
Our beans are really stressing this morning. The early fields are turning grayish white color. We did get .55 inches of rain day before yesterday. It helped a little but the 100 degrees yesterday and the forecast of 100+ today with 20-30mph winds will do alot of fields in. I live in the part of Kansas that had received decent rain most of the summer and had hopes of a bean crop. That is fading fast now. Alot of beans getting sprayed for webworm/bugs. Haven't pulled the trigger on that yet. Not sure they are worth spending the money on.
