i do look forward to my sons helping out when they are old enough.   


    



It's nice when your kids can help out but don't get used to it...chances are they'll go off and live their lives and you'll be alone again. Believe me, farming alone when you're older is no picnic. If you're lucky the kids will come home for a few days at harvest and help out driving truck or something - to them it's a holiday. Don't tell them any different.

One benefit about getting old - you don't care what the neighbors think or say anymore.
