Subject: dew point in corn canopy

Clark SD

Here is some dew point comparisons on 8 /28/2011. The ones for the dryland and irrigated corn were measured at ear leaf height. The ones at Huron (47 miles to  the sw) and Watertown (32 miles to the east) were from the national weather service. The irrigated field had its last irrigation on 8/26 at 8am and received .3 inch of rain on 8/28 at 7:30 to 8am. The dryland field received .5 inch of rain at the same time.
