s nd | Finally got my radish seed friday and figured it was time to get them in the ground. Chance of rain sunday morning, so was in a hurry sat to get it done. Saw the black flecks in the seed, but just didn't slow down enough to see what they were. Cleaned the planter tonight and looks like it could be white mold scatia, or rat crap if you will. Is that possible? Just beside myself. I suppose I should keep my mouth shut before I know for sure, but what else could it be. It might not be viable, how do you know. It would have to be broken up to get through the medium plates, but does that make it dead? Check your seed if you do cover crop. It is diakon forage radish. I'm praying they have a real bad bat problem at the seed warehouse, but we'll see how that works for me. Does anyone know the seed count of radish, or does that vary alot. | |
