WC MN
"Here" we have had three storms this year over 60 mph. One was over 90 mph straight line. Our town was devastated with 100 plus year old trees pushed over like dominoes. I lost a nice ash that was over 60 years. My neighbors had healthy oaks 16" in diameter snap in two 15 feet up. I would call that at the very least unusual. Last year, in the last week of harvest, corn went down. That was 65 mph. I have lived in the area my whole life and never remember the storms like we have now. Hopefully they don't get worse and we can keep these memories to tell to the kids as stories of how "things used to be".
