It's a lot about the management it seems. In my area we have a guy who inherited a 160 that is mostly tillable and it is the biggest disaster I can imagine. He harvested his 2009 corn around Memorial Day in 2010 and the combine is still in the corner of the field today. Just a huge waste of a great resource.
