West Salem, Illinois | Last fall and early this spring I worked some pasture ground, sowed some pasture mix from the local seed house mostly a blend of fescue, red clover, timothy. Anyway it came up with less than steller results so I decided that grazing it would be a mistake and opted to mow and bale. I mowed and baled and after three weeks have zero regrowth of anything but weeds: red root pig weed, ragweed, something that looks and smells like sage, and lots of bull nettle. So what would be my best option for resseding this disaster? I was thinking of a notill drill with grass seeder attachment. What would you do? By the way I put 100 pounds of each N P & K on when I had the ground worked down also 2 ton of lime. | |
