Yes gound is disked then manure applied and followed up by ripping. Do you feel I will lose the N to the carbon in the cornstalks at some point irregardless of when the N is applied? My thought was if it is gonna get tied up anyways just as well get it on early and let it do its thing, and avoid this process in the spring. How much N does it take to break down 180 bu. trash?
