ECIL		I know of a guy who was broadsided in his 70's pickup by a couple kids going to school. The kids were driving 80mph and my friend initially didn't see them when he was at the intersection due to the hill. He got hit as he drove forward into the intersection and was hit on the driver side door. He didn't have a belt and was ejected over 50 ft through the passenger window and ended up with multiple cuts, bruises, etc but no real serious injuries. Of the car that hit him the 14 yr old passenger was in a coma while the driver sustained multiple serious injuries. None of the people were wearing a belt at the time. OTOH, if the kids wore their belts they would have come out better while if my friend had his belt on he would have been buried. His driver door ended up 14" from the passenger door. It just goes to show it can happen either way. When God calls your number up you're going no matter what.
