IL. | Get the table set, the crops are about DONE!! we haven't had a decent rain in so long I forgot, the corn was late getting planted then pollinated in the high heat of July, (not pretty) did get a little shower and made the beans grow(too late for the corn) but it's trying to fill pods and it's wayyyy too dry, gonna be a sorry crop, beans if any (not may pods either) are going to be BB's hope others are fairing better, talked to a guy from up around Highland IL. and he said his neighbor is shelling corn, (planted in April) corn is 19% and running about 150 bu.@ trouble is this perticular ground is normally 200 plus corn ground.
So it looks like a poor crop and late harvest.
Gotta love it!!
