Good points. I know the rain makes it work like a million dollars. I'm thinking with the heavy dews we get that even that much moisture in the mornings would help. Good crop canopy would also help keep the N loss down I'd think.

I was thinking a good way of getting the last 20-25% N down and maybe some sulfur for late S needs.

I am thinking of a way of making a 60' 3pt bar with "tubes" that would hang down below the corn with deflector plates on the bottom. Then pull our B and H dry box on a Montag steerable cart behind tractor.

So far, I'm hearing enough positive comments that it might be worth a try.
