Extreme SW Minnesota Iowa border | I would have to agree with plowboy on that. I have filled in a dozen ponds or so over the years. If they have any type of waterway or stream or anything like that, they are half full of silt. The cleanest one I have ever worked in, was right in the middle of a guys grove, with pines all around it. We drained it, and put a pipe out of it to fill another pond. It was 40 years old at the time and only had about 3" of mud in the bottom. I wonder if your pond could be drained and cleaned? Once they are dry, its not a big deal to clean them. | |
