Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | The direct payments need to go. I'd rather see some of that money used to better subsidize our crop revenue insurance programs.
As far as farmers having luxury cars, new equipment or houses I don't think we need to be ashame. People in other lines of work had it pretty good for a long time while farmers were struggling. It's out turn. We shouldn't have to live as second class citizens. |
