S.C. Wisconsin | I remember the old ollie, at that time my dad and my grandpa bought a Case chopper to chop forage, the poor 70 only had about 28 hp and was expected to pull that chopper. My dad said they got into some really big corn and the 70 was expected to chop that corn and it did but due the extreme lugging they burnt the valves out on the old girl. Then my dad traded it for a used 44 Massey and chopped with that and bragged about the old Massey really had it as there was a bundle of corn going through the chopper at all time! Great stories maybe should write some of those stories down. Before my Grandpa died he wrote a book on the stories from the neighborhood. | |
